After defending my Master Thesis “Populism And The Business Response: The Importance Of a Collective Action”, in October I obtained my Master’s Degree in International Management at Esade University of Barcelona, where I spent an amazing year sorrounded by wonderful people and professionals.During this period I had the opportunity to learn about International Business, develop my skills, and meet extraordinary individuals who I will never forget. The road has been long and difficult, but full of joy and great achievements! Now, on to my second Master’s at CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education, which will give me the possibility to meet and work with people from all around the world, expanding my horizons and building my future career.

After 20 months of experiences, sacrifices and fun, I finished the EMBA at Esade 🎉 It was just before the summer, but it has taken me a few weeks to analyze what it has meant to me and what I have learned about myself during this long journey:It has been a unique and vital experience, which has opened my mind about the world of companies and business, acquiring knowledge and experiences that complement my previous technical and ecosystem background. I have been able to live in an international environment with a lot of cultural exchange with people from all continents, having the opportunity to get to know my classmates, professors and other people with a high intellectual and cultural level. I have felt the impostor syndrome many times.I have discovered my weaknesses: corporate finance and communication (nothing new 😅) which I will strengthen from now on with more public exposure and working on non-verbal communication.I have also discovered my strengths: technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, nothing new either 😃 But the most important thing I take away is the importance of CHANGE management as a basis for business development, strategy, innovation and people. Now I must apply it to myself: what change do I want to make? I must define the focus and work towards it.Note: There is a recurring debate that has also come up for me: is it worth doing an #EMBA? The big question. And the answer depends a lot on your personal situation, expectations and dedication. I personally enjoyed it a lot, and I'm proud to have done it, but the journey felt like forever, and the study experience took me a bit too old to make the most of it. What was your experience?I would like to thank my wife for her unconditional support, my wonderful classmates in the picture, and the teachers and staff at Esade for inspiring me, helping me or sharing this journey. 🎓 New Beginnings: with CEMS at HEC Paris 🚀Two weeks ago, I began my CEMS Master in International Management at HEC Paris which in 2023, stands at #1 according to FT's ranking. This institution has been a crucible for transformative ideas and collaborations that have contributed to shaping the world today. Why CEMS?In an era marked by the rapid ascent of AI and technological evolution, leadership qualities are paramount. The ability to lead with empathy, foresight, and a profound grasp of global dynamics is essential in leveraging technology for greater impact.Yet, the challenges we face today extend far beyond technology. They demand adaptability, patience, and critical thinking. The essence of this program can be likened to our disruptive times, with each semester introducing a new context, much like the changing seasons. This immersive approach has already pushed me beyond my comfort zone, paradoxically making uncertainty a friend and a source of opportunity. In just two weeks, this experience has begun to redefine my perspective. I look forward to the growth that a year's time will bring.#HECParis #CEMS #CareerGrowth 🌍📚

🌟 Honored to have engaged with a group of bright minds from the Esade Executive MBA program last Friday. It was truly insightful to delve into the dynamics of the executive search world and share some market trends.Key takeaways from our session:1️⃣ Emphasizing the significance of daily actions geared towards fostering long-term positive impacts, steering away from short-sighted utilitarian approaches.2️⃣ Noting the evolving trend among companies in seeking specific personal competencies beyond technical knowledge. In a constantly changing landscape, adaptability and the ability to interpret shifting realities are paramount.3️⃣ Highlighting the importance of nurturing a robust personal brand and broadening one's perspective.Engaging with such a driven group reaffirms the essence of continuous learning and growth in today's professional arena. Grateful for the opportunity Marta Cercós Elisa Bandres to exchange insights and perspectives. Looking forward to more enriching interactions ahead!Page Executive Esade #ExecutiveSearch #MarketTrends #ProfessionalDevelopment #PersonalBranding #ContinuousLearning

⏳ Two years ago… ... I was building a life and a future 800km away from where I sit now, full of hopes, dreams, fears and uncertainties. Few tangible things remain from that time but many intangible ones. 🌪️ Life goes so fast that we barely take the time to acknowledge all the changes, assimilate how far we have gone, what we have achieved, learnt and evolved.🙏🏾 Thanks to this short interview by emlyon business school during my MBA time I could stop for a second and look back to put some perspective, with some nostalgy but mainly with pride and confidence 💪🏽 🔆 Hopefully will inspire and motivate other future #IMBA students.Because we are not meant to have all the perfect answers, we are meant to doubt, try, and most important, #dare ! 💡 Our professional journey is like our personal one: different chapters, with wins and losses, #challenges , frustrations and #success , but I would say the key to be fulfilled is to be surrounded by good human beings in every step helping us to grow and create a solid base. #colleagues that support and encourage you, that #trust in you and make you #outperform yourself every day (or almost). emlyon business school gave me a reliable and solid ground to keep on #learning , self-developing and discovering my new #passion that has transformed in my professional call. I will be always grateful to it and for all the people I crossed paths with, that made me add new perspectives, expertise and challenged my ideas. But overall #inspired me.To never stop #learning, #building, #dreaming and #sharing💚emlyon business school #sustainability #mba #internationaleducation #futureleaders #learninganddevelopment #emlyon https://lnkd.in/dPN4_r7u
