Audience Member im writing this as a caution- this movie is vile in nature and you WILL feel vile after watching it. honestly not even sure if this should be considered a movie. disgustingly shocking seemingly just for the sake of being shocking. not for the faint of heart WHATsoever. do not watch it. if you are truly seeking out media like this to watch and enjoy, i suggest that you reconsider your morality and mental health. I heard of its reputation and considered it a "must avoid" movie. It is a dark movie that ventures into the realm of controversial taboos. Then, one day, I found it was available to stream on a subscription service, so I watched it. It is confirmed: I didn't care for the flick. The story feels extremely bland and relies solely on its self-absorbed shock value. For 99.9% of the movie's runtime, I consider it a waste of my time. The remaining 0.1% was to confirm my suspicion that I didn't care for it at all. Something that unfortunately seems to be part of human culture since centuries. The staging and action reminds very well of descriptions of ritual abuse set-ups you find in writings of therapeutic experts in the field. Hence thr 3 stars.
