A Serbian Film still rips apart our morals, and deepthroats us with them until we vomit our own regrets. For me it still holds the title as most nasty, disturbing, controversial and f*cked-up horror movie to ever exist.

Any remnants of socio-political commentary from the film's initial scenes are ultimately washed away in a sea of sweat, blood and sem*n, leaving behind only the broadest, most unsophisticated of allegorical metaphors.

There exists a hard, bitter audience for the likes of A Serbian Film, one of the most graphic depictions of human suffering I have ever seen committed to the screen. I am not among them.

Fantastic performances from the two leads make for a very powerful film. It's truly a technical achievement on every count and while It may not be for everyone, if you can stomach it, watch it!
