Dad was well cared for there and we were able to get away and have a vacation and visit our adult children out of state. For some much needed couple time and family time. I was looking at assisted living facilities for my Mom and I contacted A Place For Mom because I saw it on TV. Melissa ** reached out to me and listened to what I was needing as far as care for my Mom. She was friendly, very knowledgeable, and she really understood what a hard step this was for me to be making for the care of my Mom. She helped me set up a tour of a nearby facility that I had already known about but didn't get over to see it. I am sure glad that I did because I found the right community for my Mom to move to. I am thankful that I reached out to A Place for Mom because I would have skipped over this wonderful community that I am sure my Mom will be happy at. I highly recommend A Place for Mom to help you search for care for your aging parents.

Everyone that I talked to along the way was always so helpful and kind and followed up with me on the regular. I've heard plenty of advertisem*nts on the radio over the past few years and the time came upon us for us to look into assisted living for our mother. It was the only place that I checked out because the reception on all ends were amazing. We ended up going with Celebration Villa because their dementia unit was outstanding. Everyone there was so receptive to her upon her arrival. John **, Stephanie, Mike, Kelsey and Alli were super helpful and was and continue to be so compassionate. Mike in maintenance was a huge help with answering our logistics questions of the room - cable and telephone etc.

When my mom needed more skills than her assisted living was able to provide, I struggled to get information, advice and help to place her in a new facility. After calling many SNFs and never getting a response, I felt frustrated and unsure where to turn. A friend referred me to A Place for Mom, and within 3 minutes I had a call. I was transferred to someone in my area who enlightened me that my mom did not really need a SNF, she needed a memory care facility with an enhanced license to provide more services. While I was on the phone, we connected with 1 facility and arranged a tour. Within a half of an hour, I heard from 3 other facilities and scheduled tours promptly. I was able to place my mom with a few days. It was so refreshing to have help!!! The customer service was amazing. It was efficient, effective and very caring!! Thank you so much! I am not sure what I would have done without A Place for Mom!!!

Punctuality & Speed

The whole situation of having to help the parents was new, and there is this whole industry out there dedicated to this which we did not understand at all. We worked with A Place for Mom for over a year, all while trying to learn what the options are. This was in parallel with my parents coming to grips that this was a good move. Three ambulatory experiences over the last year helped them realize they may no longer be safe in their house and a move may be a good choice. Once they figured that out, thanks to all the research we did with A Place for Mom, we were ready to act on it and found a senior living facility very quickly. Very thankful for all the support along the way.

What a peaceful experience working with Tamara and A Place for Mom. We found a great place for my parents because of her. ❤️ Tamara found several places for us to look at and had great recommendations. After Caring for Dad for the last 1.5 years me and my two brothers were exhausted. Thank you for helping us find dad a nice place with the professional staff he needs. I am so glad I called A Place for Mom. Taking care of a loved one in their home is very difficult. So glad he is getting the 24/7 care that he deserves.

They helped to set up tours of different facilities while staying neutral. They were there to talk me through the process.

My experience with Lynn (**) was nothing short of spectacular. Every step of the way, Lynn treated me with kindness and understanding. I felt like Lynn was trying to place her own family member into a community. She was very thorough in her research of the community and was honest in navigating how I should conduct myself when interacting and providing information regarding my father and his phase of dementia. Clearly Lynn is experienced in what she does and that showed in her knowledge of various communities. If Lynn didn't have an answer, she got it.
