America’s Got Talent 2024: Meet the acts appearing on Auditions Week 8
America’s Got Talent season 19 auditions week 8 airs on Tuesday July 23. It’s the eighth and LAST week of auditions before the series takes a two week break for the Paris Olympics.
Production stills indicate that AGT will go all-in on promoting the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics. For instance, the photo above features beach volleyball players Sarah Hughes and Kelly Cheng smashing the Golden Buzzer. Will the show feature a 10th surprise buzzer? Probably not, but stay tuned to find out!
This season, the Golden Buzzers expanded. The audience and group buzzers are gone. But now each of the judges get TWO buzzers, while Terry holds on to his one. That’s nine golden buzzers in all!

America’s Got Talent airs on NBC Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT. Next day streaming on Peaco*ck. Beginning after the two week Olympics break, AGT will air LIVE on Tuesdays at 8 pm with a 1 hour LIVE results show following on Wednesdays at 8 pm. (AGT returns on Tuesday, August 13).
Airfootworks – Dance/Acrobatics
Airfootworks is a group from Japan that combines dance and acrobats using a pull-up bar to showcase their talents. This group performed on Japan’s Got Talent Season 1 as a duo and made it to the Finals in 2023. This time around it appears there are four of them. One of their playful videos on Tik Tok showcasing them dancing using the pull-up bar has 8.8 million views and 105K likes to date.

Alejandro Licea Pellon – Rolla bolla/Hand balancing
Alejandro Licea Pellon is a circus artist who performs at several festivals and circus shows. Alejandro’s act combines rolla bolla and hand balancing. He made the semifinals of Season 9 of Spain’s Got Talent in 2023.

Black Peppers – Comedic group
Black Peppers are a group from Japan. According to their website they are an entertainment group performing a Karuko show which is the “behind-the-scenes supporters of the traditional Japanese art of Kabuki”. The group expand on this on their YouTube page where it states that they are a “handmade space using tools made of cardboard, duct tape, and other familiar materials.” They post a variety of comedic concepts with one titled “Businessman Ping Pong” having 14.4 million views and 343K likes on Tik Tok. They have several viral postings featured on Tik Tok and YouTube.

Brooke Bailey – Singer
Brooke is a 19-year-old singer from Granada Hills, California. She made the Music Center’s 35th Annual Spotlight Grand Finale as a Non-Classical Voice Grand Prize Finalist. A video of her singing “Part of This World” with friends went viral with 476K views and 123K likes on Tik Tok. Her audition singing “Ain’t No Way” by Aretha Franklin was previewed by AGT.

Corkey Miller – Comedian
Kimber “Corkey” Miller is a comedian from North Carolina who won Morning Pointe’s Seniors Got Talent contest in Knoxville. She is also an animal trainer who has trained animals for film. Her work bio states that she has worked for the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Dolly Parton, Bill Murray, Robert De Niro
Haley Viloria – Aerialist
Haley is an aerial straps performer who has appeared with Cirque du Soleil. She also is the aerial director for Celebrity Cruises Entertainment. She won the Viva Fest World Circus Championships in 2024.
Jonathan Burns – Comedian
Jonathan is a comedian and contortionist who appeared on Season 14 of AGT, but got cut in the judges cut round when Simon and Howie buzzed his cheesy comedy act. Prior to AGT, he appeared on Late Show with James Corden and Penn & Teller’s Fool Us.

Journeyy – Kid singer
Journeyy Belton is a 9 year-old singer with a large following. The young singer has 113K followers on Tik Tok with one video of him singing “Oceans” having 4 million views and 639K likes.
Kelsey Jane – Aerialist
Kelsey is an aerialist and dancer who is also a dentist. Her aerial act will be featured in the 1st Las Vegas Circus Festival which is taking place in November. She was previously featured in Circus Couture 2024, a charity event in Las Vegas.

Prilepin Quartet – Acrobat/Hand balancing
Prilepin Quartet appear to be an acrobatic and hand balancing quartet led by Rodion Prilepin that have performed at a number of circus shows the past few years.
Sophie Lennon – Singer
Sophie Lennon is a singer from Ireland. She represented her home country in Junior Eurovision in 2022 where she placed 4th. Her Eurovision song, “Solas” which is sung in Gaelic, has 555K streams on Spotify. Although not aired, she made it past auditions of BGT in Season 15, and she made it past auditions once again in Season 17 but failed to make it any further.

Xpogo – Pogo stick artists
Xpogo are an extreme pogo stick group from Pennsylvania. They have been performing for years with several stunts posted on YouTube. The group has 417K followers on Tik Tok and one of their jump stunt videos has 35.5 million views and 991K likes. They have a history with Got Talent.X–Xpogo first auditioned for AGT Season 5 in 2010 making it past their audition but no further. The group was cut during judgment week in Season 9 in 2014. They also have appeared on Tu Si Que Vales in Italy twice, making the finale in 2015 and most recently Canada’s Got Talent in 2023 where they made it past their audition but no further. One of their members, Duncan Murray made the semifinals of Britain’s Got Talent Season 17 this year.
