Paul Earl, Commodore 2008 Jubilee Yacht Club, located on Boston's North Shore in Beverly Massachusetts, has carried on yachting traditions since 1896. A private membership based organization, the Club continues to thrive with over 400 active participants. The Club takes its name from an America's Cup contender of 1893, and continues to encourage and foster yacht racing at the highest levels. T Club continues to sponsor and organize a wide variety of racing events, such as is the popular Thursday Night Race series which has been run every summer for three decades. This weekly series continues to draw over 100 boats to compete for honors and recognition in the midst of historic Salem Sound. Weekend races are also scheduled throughout each summer. Jubilee also organizes fleet cruises to neighboring yacht clubs, holds a number of fishing tournaments, and maintains a busy social calendar for our members. The Club also encourages safety and education through through the support of junior sailing programs to ensure the sailing and boating spirit remains strong on the North Shore for generations to come.
